Hired:
The fabrics arrive at the cutting zone on rolls. About 50 of us have the task of folding and cutting the fabric. We then gather up all the cuts and prepare them for the stitching departments, here and abroad. The thing I like most about my job is the variety.
I’ve improved in job along the years and I’m still learning. At the moment for instance, I’m doing the preparatory work.
I work in a varying shift system, which allows me to spend some extra time on household tasks every day. It’s a very good combination for me!
