Engagement & connection
To map the general well-being of our employees, we regularly organize an engagement survey and define action plans based on the feedback we received. The actions are determined and developed in the teams and at company level. In this way we work together on continuous improvement, and Van de Velde remains a wonderful place to work.
We strive for open internal communication and use our internal communication platform, the 'conversation room', amongst others, on which all kinds of news and activities are published.
In the closed Facebook group 'Working at Van de Velde', around 500 employees from all over the world share small and large messages with each other.
VdV Connect is a group of committed colleagues from various departments who organize all kinds of fun initiatives to keep employees connected.

Our lunch & learn sessions are the ideal moment to share information between the various departments.
Various (sporting) events
These includes, for example, our Christmas market in December, our sporting challenges (such as our walk & bike challenge), but also all kinds of other social (team) events that are often organized in the context of good causes.
